spring gentle rain

Through the thin shadow
the small cloud
a sudden peaceful, humble
spring gentle rain
irrigates the soil

From music and
frantic dance
the most
small forgotten
grass awakening
are delivered, thirstily

In this hugging the
full of smells
Sun lowers
smiling again winner
the calcined stones
the rain thousands of kisses
he had left

At flapping wings

Three angels with excess

peacefulness

on one virgin dome

a simplistic church

hanging

Flowers measure

forces

on stone slits

The people grow

in loneliness

hungry for love

The deserted streets

Hold the calcined

sun of summer

birds waiting

In the long journey

promise roots stretching

at flapping wings

in the cities of the world

colors awaken to light

Hi Folks I find myself a sporadic visitor to all online sites that I maintain an interest in, many are more committed than I.

I enjoy other interests that call upon my time, that is all there is to it. I would like to share this latest addition to my body of poetry with you all, to see what response if any it commands.

Footprints in the snow

Folklore created, throughout the passage of my life.

Things my family remember, in their dreams on my demise.

Will be superseded, as they gain folklore of their own.

Within a generation, I may be forgotten, but not alone.

Such is life’s progression; something we must all accept.

A bitter pill to swallow, for a star with comet tail effect.

Antics concocted, to amuse those far and wide,

will soon be antiquated, forgotten, set aside.

There is something comforting, in knowledge of our decay.

Not only of our bodies, but of life’s progression way.

Good and bad will disappear, until entirely hidden.

Unless of course notoriety, blights one’s disposition.

The final judgement, is it final, it may follow us around?

Throughout our time on Earth, Heaven and the great surround.

It is exciting, isn’t it, not knowing what will be,

Maintaining a simple belief, in a great eternity.

Is it just recycling, on a grand expansive scale?

Do we intermingle, within the heavenly comet trail?

Gradually progressing, whether wanting to or not.

Gaining enlightenment, until we finally know the lot?

I see logical influences, that confront us day to day.

Undeniable insights, appearing along our way.

We interpret them so differently, depending upon our fears.

Some optimistic, others doubting good exists, alongside the severe.

In all honesty, I do not know, how could I hope to claim,

I am in possession of knowledge, only the departed could attain.

Those with claims of gospel, on the good side or the other,

Cannot be counted in reality, as a truly honest brother.

                                                                               Amen!
