Rainy Sonata

Sudden gusts of wind hits soundly by the window. Raindrops jingle on the glass. Downpour composes a sonata. It records transparent notesOn the invisible staves. Single sounds join together to create the  thundering chords. Cold drops vibrate in music, Antarctic glaciers crumble, hot springs geysers steam, river flow down rhythm  Allegro Water, as the Wandering Jew, will  never know peace. It will continue wandering between steam and ice. Yesterday it was  the  ocean. Today it is the lake.…See More

The chat with a stranger

We collided at the speed of light And we stood amazed –This is such an unexpected meeting. In  the terms of logic it is considered as impossible. Maybe We met in a bar at the different tables, We passed indifferently on a street, We sat silently next to each other on the subway. Certainly We exchanged a few controversial views And revealed some secret thoughts and dreams. The honest conversation is easierWith a person without a faceSee More

Homeless cat by Alicja Kuberska

I observe a homeless cat. Distrust is hidden in his green eyes, fear can be seen in the spiked hair and his paws  are always  ready to run. Fate is unkind to him, it  has  given the common coat. People do not admire him and  nobody looks into the cat’s soul. Always hungry and scared, wandering through the surrounding backyards, he peeks in the urban garbage. Sometimes he …See More

Conversion

It is a pity that I cannot buy a new soul. In supermarkets, there are no special offers - New Soul! On sale! The old one is dysfunctional. It is much easier to have a simple vision of the world. Keep your feet on the ground and don’t have dreams. Being greedy protects the heart. Life has a physical dimension. Ideals hurt. Gain a prominent place in the rat race, Dispose of sentiments, tears. My soul is able to forgive. It cannot learn to trust again. It says it does not enter the same river…See More

Network of silence

Loneliness is silence,Unseen in the world of noise and rush. Do not cry.You can say that it is cool and nice.Find a shelter in a virtual worldTo forget about the real one. So many lonely people,Who thirst for touch and warmth. So many evenings and nights without words,So many dreams of intimacy with another person,Woven on the web of internetSee More

Rainy Sonata

Sudden gusts of wind

hits soundly by the window.

Raindrops jingle on the glass.

Downpour composes a sonata.

It records transparent notes

On the invisible staves.

Single sounds join together

to create the  thundering chords.

Cold drops vibrate in music,

Antarctic glaciers crumble,

hot springs geysers steam,

river flow down rhythm  Allegro
